Kentucky Cowgirl

There once was a young cowgirl who cared for cows and dogs and animals of all kinds. She spent most of her mornings with a cup of coffee checking on her herd. She was a true Kentucky Cowgirl and here is her story. I love telling stories and this one is on the top of my list. It all started when Lindy got a toy barn full of little animals which she packed around the house in a little wagon...

She's a bit older now and she's still enjoying the farm, well running it actually...

Here is her new baby calf one of four on the farm right now...

These photos show just how much she really loves being on the farm with her cows...

Sweet cow kisses. This new calf is the size of our lab, Raven.

I won't say she remained clean through this shoot, this little baby was still being washed off by it's momma (pictured close by).

She's more than a farmer- she's a strong cowgirl.

Oh and the cow's name is Mary-Kate.

Hugs for the little calf.

This sweet life Lindy has built for herself is lots of hard work but it's lots of good fun too.

Not everything is happy round' here these days, so I hope these photos brought you some happiness. Hap Hap Happy Birthday, Cowgirl! I love you!
