Christmas on South Main

Christmas is such a magical time of the year, anything is possible! Even after we grow older and move on from things of our childhood, it still keeps it's sparkle. The sparkle changes from belief and wonder to surprise and expectation as Santa takes up residence in our own hearts over the years in new ways. I can only imagine what it will be like to be Santa for littles some day, the joy that comes with every Christmas morning only amplified. He's still there y'all. We get to relish the season all the more in the midst of heartache which is by in part what 2020 has given us. Lucky for us, that's what this time of the year is all about! In the coldest months of the year, Christmas comes to the rescue because it always has. From a baby in a manger to a whimsical secret gift giver, Christmas warrants little bits of Immanuel infused days. God being with us, good being in us, it is all exemplified in the Christmas season.

This Christmas season is starting early here on south main as me and my sister quarantine due to a COVID-19 outbreak in my family. We are healthy and happy together. We're making the most of it and letting the goodness of Christmas cheer us up. After all, being home to watch Christmas movies by the tree is everyone's dream, right? I'm doing lots of movie watching and recipe making and I plan to share it all with you right here. So stay tuned for all the memories Lindy and I will be making as we quarantine in Christmas spirit.
